DHM is acronym for Dihydromyricetin. 
Dihydromyricetin is a flavanol, a type of flavonoid. 

Flavonoids are natural compounds found in many plants, fruits, vegetables, tea, and wine. They have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which help protect cells from damage, reduce the risk of diseases, and support a healthy immune system. Dihydromyricetin (DHM) is primarily found in the following sources:

1. Hovenia dulcis (Japanese Raisin Tree) 
2. Ampelopsis grossedentata (a vine used in traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese Vine Tea)
3. Vitis vinifera (grapevine) – DHM is found in the leaves and sometimes in the skin of grapes, particularly red grapes.
4. Magnolia vine (Schisandra chinensis) – A plant from traditional Chinese medicine that contains small amounts of DHM.
5. Black tea leaves – While only in trace amounts, DHM can be found in black tea.

Due to health and safety compliance, we have put a caution for the high vitamin B levels. Too much vitamin B can lead to feelings of nausea but it is important to note that it would take a lot of Sacros to overload on this. Sacro has been designed to be consumed frequently and easily, particularly after consuming alcohol throughout the day following, which is partly why the formula was made so low calorie, so you can keep hydrating without adding too much in through your hydrating calories.
4 cans of Sacro for example would be1 litre of liquid at only 112 calories. This is also why when creating our functional formula we ensured no artifical colours or flavours were added so you could enjoy a recovery beverage without paying for it with an alternative health detriment.
Put simply? Don’t sweat it — 1 can max per day is just a recommendation and requirement to comply with health and safety within New Zeland.
